Dummy Figure
To attach a figure or image, in the sidebar, go to toolbox -> upload file and upload an image (see format restrictions, typically png/jpg/gif). Keep a note of the name with which the file would be stored on the server, in this case DummyFigure_dummyuser.png. Once an image has been uploaded, it can be referenced on a wiki page, using for example
[[File:DummyFigure_dummyuser.png|thumb|right|Dummy Figure]]
.

\begin{equation} \int_0^{2\pi} \end{equation}

The code below shows an example of adding references.

According to scientists, the Sun is pretty big.<ref name="Miller">E. Miller, The Sun, (New York: Academic Press, 2005), 23-5.</ref>
The Moon, however, is not so big.<ref>R. Smith, "Size of the Moon", Scientific American, 46 (April 1978): 44-6.</ref>
The same reference (Miller)<ref name="Miller"></ref> again.

<references/>
Remember to add
<references/>

at the very end or wherever we want the reference list to actually be present. The output is: According to scientists, the Sun is pretty big.[1] The Moon, however, is not so big.[2] The same reference (Miller)[1] again.

Notes (from the example of references)

  1. 1.0 1.1 E. Miller, The Sun, (New York: Academic Press, 2005), 23-5.
  2. R. Smith, "Size of the Moon", Scientific American, 46 (April 1978): 44-6.
